The surface should be clean (free from oil, grease and other surface contaminants), compact and dry. The surface should be carefully inspected to determine the preparation work to be earned out. Remove all the loose paints by using gross brush or high pressure water-jet and ensure that surfaces are free from contamination and oil stains prior to painting work in order to have higher and maximum performance. Do not apply paint on wet walls or when raining. For new cement surfaces, ensure that the surfaces are thoroughly dry before painting. The concrete shall be allowed to cure for at least 14 days before application of coatings is allowed (28 days recommended). Otherwise, premature paint failure may occur.
